Pre Ballet & Tiny Tots Ballet
Pre School Ages 2-5! These Creative Movement Ballet classes are the perfect entry into a classroom setting for your little one, for boys and for girls! Our classes are 45 minutes. Starting off with a structured routine of stretching and strengthening, we learn about the parts of our bodies and practice counting while holding positions. When it’s time to stand up for warm-up we define key ballet terms while doing the positions & movements. After our structured warm up, we get our wiggles out with a free dance exercise! The middle portion of class is centered about music, how to listen and describe tempos and what steps to dance along with it! We will do multiple exercises to practice steps and musicality! For the end of class, as long as behavior has been good and everyone is sharing… we will use props: (musical instruments, ribbons, super hero capes/masks, magic wands, etc,) and finish class with freeze dance! Everyone gets a sticker & a ballet buck for positive behavior and effort reinforcement! After 15 bucks are collected, they can be turned-in for a prize out of our treasure chest!
