BRAVA: Ballet Resource Active Volunteer Association is a non-profit 501-c3 organization dedicated to the arts! BRAVA serves the Riverside community by providing Mentoring, Scholarships, Workshops, Choreography, Performing Opportunities, Community Outreaches with an emphasis on children & youth!

A few of these programs include and are not limited to:

David Allan’s Nutcracker - Performed by BRAVA’s Ballet Company: BRAVA RIVERSIDE BALLET. Performed in the IE for over 35 years! This beloved holiday tradition showcases the spectacular talents of the communities novice dancers & professional dancers! Spectacular choreography by David Allan, world renowned choreographer, tells the story of Clara & her Nutcracker Prince. Principal dancers from New York City Ballet take the stage with us every season to deliver a stunning performance this December 2025, dates & tickets TBA.

Art for the Heart - Community Outreach Classes! Bringing dance & movement into the local schools, elementary level and up! Reach out to us about coming to your school or visit us in person for more information on how to sign up.

Movement For Life - Unique to the region, is the only program in the IE that provides instruction to Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis Patients using directed motion through dance to improve their condition. In direct coordination with their treating physicians, this program successfully uses the Dance for PD model to dramatically increase the quality of mobility & improve the lives of these patients! FREE CLASSES EVERY WEDNESDAY at 2pm!
