Our Programs
Pre Professional Program.
Making dreams come true since 1969, Riverside Ballet Arts has provided excellence in Classical Ballet Technique and multiple other genres of dance training. Our program has built relationships with professional ballet programs & companies internationally. We produce dancers who are accepted to summer programs, who receive scholarships & who thrive at year-round programs around the globe. Starting at two-years-old, our program is for all levels of experience who show commitment and drive for success in Performing Arts.
Summer Program.
Summer workshop opportunities for all ages! Ballet Day Camp (ages 3 & up): dancing, arts and crafts, classic ballet stories, movie clips of famous ballets, original choreography & memories that will last for a lifetime! Beginning (ages 8 & up), Intermediate (ages 12 & up) - Advanced Level Intensives that include Master Classes from internationally-known instructors & guest artists. These classes include & are not limited to: Pilates, Body Conditioning, Ballet Technique, Pointe Class (Adv. only), Choreography, Contemporary, Jazz & more!
“Art for the Heart” by BRAVA
“Art for the Heart” is a program geared towards, on-site dance instruction at local public & private elementary schools! In our classes, students will be exposed to music, props, instruments & the history of dance while getting their exercise! This program is based off of ballet’s positions, steps & disciplined structure. Students will learn choreography to a popular song at the end of their class! If students have good behavior, they participate in freeze dance with props!
Classes will be taught by RBA’s experienced instructors & assistants in your facilities largest space! Please note that teachers must be present and assist with restroom, behavior & respect during the class.
Individual teachers, or school admin., may reach out and collaborate with us on the following information: how may sessions they’d be interested in, amount of students that will attend the classes and schedule class dates & times!
We can accommodate between 30-60 students per session. One session is two 45 minute classes for one price! If you have a number of students that exceeds this maximum amount of 60, consider scheduling an additional session for the best experience! Please reach out for inquiries and scheduling, at the start of the school year! Please note that our schedule is first come - first served, spots fill up fast!
Adult Program.
From novice beginners to seasoned alumnae, the adult program provides all-inclusive and welcoming classes year-round. Whether your goals are to get back into shape after an injury, move for your mental health, emotional decompression, fulfilling a childhood dream, building a new skill… we are here to help your dreams become a reality! Our Adult classes are the perfect melting-pot, starting at age 14 to 80 years-old! We’d love to dance with you!
Outreach Program.
We are a vendor for providing Charter & Homeschool programs dance classes! We provide on-site classes during the daytime and classes at RBA during after school hours! These classes are for all ages and levels of experience! We’ll come to your school, or facility, and demonstrate a presentation of what our school and affiliate ballet company, BRAVA, have to offer the community!
BRAVA’s Production of David Allan’s Nutcracker offers reduced pricing for Field Trips every December! Act fast and reach out to purchased reduced-price tickets for your class for this December (2025)! Please note that it is best to reserve your busses through your school (or district) as soon as possible!

Creative Movement
Tiny Tots & Pre Ballet Classes. Ages 2-5. Building Social Skills in a classroom setting. Classical Ballet Technique & Music Fundamentals. Establishing Coordination, Flexibility, Endurance, Spatial Awareness & Quality of Movement.

Technique Level Classes
Levels 1 - 6: Classical Ballet Technique Training in the Pre Professional Program starting at 6 years old. Foundations of Classical Ballet, Terminology, Flexibility, Strength Building, Quality of Movement & Learning how to apply corrections.

Pointe Classes
Pre Pointe strength-building class, Beginning Pointe, Intermediate & Advanced Pointe Classes on Fridays year-round. Advanced Pointe classes for students levels 6 & 7 throughout the week.

Specialty Classes
These classes include and are not limited to: Musical Theater Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Pilates, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) & Body Conditioning. Level of experience for the above specialty classes is dependent upon available instructors, student sign-ups and the trimester’s class schedule.
