The Times:
10:00 AM-12:00 PM Advanced Level: soloists & corps de ballet. Men & women, women en pointe. No height requirements.
12:15-1:30 PM Intermediate Level: boys & girls for 1st Act Party Scene, height requirement- 4’3”-4’11”.
1:30-2:30 PM Intermediate & Advanced Level 2nd Act Attendants. No height requirements.
2:30-3:30 PM Beginning Level Children: boys & girls for Mother Ginger’s Children. Height requirements under 4’1”.
3:45-4:45 PM Beginning & Intermediate Levels: boys & girls for Battle Scene: Mice & Soldiers. No height requirements.
4:45-5:45 PM Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced Levels: Party Scene Adults & Character Roles. No height requirements.
Arrival:
Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your audition time. Audition Paperwork can be completed via the link on our social media profiles/bios, or the QR code on the Audition Notice, paperwork must be completed before checking in and paying the audition fee ($40.00 per dancer).
Dancers may be asked to stay for multiple auditions! Be prepared by bringing snacks, a blanket or camping chair to sit on and quiet mess-free activities for children to enjoy while waiting in the Main Lobby. Restrooms are located on either side of the Main Lobby, please treat the lobby and the restrooms with respect as it is a shared space. Please supervise your children and do not leave dancers at auditions, parents must stay in the Main Lobby.
What to Wear:
Ladies: Tights, Leotard, Skirts & Shorts. Gents: T-Shirts, Shorts or exercise pants & Socks. Long hair must be in a neat bun, NO bare feet/legs/midriff. No competition wear/clothing.
What to Bring/Leave with parents or at home:
Bring:
Ballet Slippers or Jazz Shoes.
A spill-proof, leak-proof water bottle (labeled with your name).
Int./Adv. Level (ONLY): Pointe Shoes & Ballet Slippers.
Adult/Character Roles (ONLY): Clean tennis shoes/sneakers, Socks, Character Heels, Jazz Shoes, Ballet Slippers, etc,.
Leave with parents or at home:
Fast food/starbucks drinks.
Electronics: Smart watches, cell phones, etc,.
Street Clothes & Shoes.
Large Bags, Toys or Precious Belongings.
Rehearsal Commitment:
Int/Adv Pointe roles: Evenings on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (days & times STC- Subject to Change), Mornings-Noon on Saturdays, some Sundays.
Int./Beg. Roles: Saturdays Noon-6:30 PM, some Sundays.
Adult & Character roles: Saturdays 4-6 PM, some Sundays.
ENTIRE CAST
Saturday & Sunday BEFORE Thanksgiving Break, Saturdays & Sundays AFTER Thanksgiving Break, ALL DAYS of Tech Week and ALL Performances.
Each cast member is allowed 3 pre-excused absences for the entire season. For example: Weddings, Events, Appointments, Prior Commitments, etc,. This does NOT include illness-related absences! More than 3 absences without pre-approval (30 days notice) will result in your dancer’s roles being replaced & the revoking of performing privileges. Absences MUST be approved by a member of the Artistic Staff: Miss Kathleen Riker or Miss Chloë Shah.
